We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the upcoming issue of the Forefront in Sociology & Political Sciences Journal. This peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal invites contributions from scholars, researchers, and practitioners that explore both sociological and political dimensions of contemporary issues. We welcome original research, theoretical papers, reviews, and case studies that address critical questions in these dynamic fields.

We Are Looking For Papers On:

  • Social Theory and Political Analysis
    Exploring frameworks and theories that connect sociology with political science, including critical, feminist, postcolonial, and intersectional approaches.
  • Political Systems and Governance
    Comparative studies of political structures, state institutions, democracy, authoritarianism, and governance across the globe.
  • Public Policy and Social Justice
    Investigating the interplay between social policy, economic justice, inequality, and activism.
  • Globalization and Transnational Politics
    Examining the social, political, and economic impacts of globalization, migration, and transnational networks.
  • Identity, Race, and Intersectionality
    Addressing issues of race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and their impact on politics and society.
  • Environmental Sociology and Politics
    Analyzing the sociopolitical implications of environmental issues, climate change, sustainability, and social movements.
  • Political Ideology and Behavior
    Studies on political behavior, electoral systems, public opinion, and the role of ideology in shaping political participation.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Eligibility: We invite papers from scholars, researchers, and practitioners in sociology, political science, and related disciplines. We encourage submissions from both emerging scholars and established experts.
  • Manuscript Requirements:
    • All submissions must be original and previously unpublished.
    • Manuscripts should be submitted in [Word or LaTeX] format and adhere to the journal’s formatting and citation guidelines (available on the Author Guidelines page).
    • Papers should include an abstract (up to 300 words) and a list of keywords.
  • Review Process:
    All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Authors will receive feedback from two independent reviewers. The review process ensures that all published articles meet the highest scholarly standards.
  • Word Limit:
    • Research Articles: 6,000 – 8,000 words
    • Short Articles/Case Studies: 3,000 – 4,000 words
    • Book Reviews: 1,500 – 2,000 words
  • Deadline:
    The deadline for submission is 28, February 2025. Submissions received after this date may be considered for future issues.
