Article Processing Charges (APC)

Forefront in Sociology & Political Sciences is an open-access journal. There is no submission fee.

An Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable only to manuscripts that have been accepted for publication following the completion of the peer-review and editorial decision process.

APC for Indian Authors

USD 80 per accepted article

Important Information

  • No fee is charged at the time of manuscript submission.

  • APC payment is requested only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

  • Payment of an APC does not influence the editorial decision or peer-review outcome.

  • There are no additional submission, review, or mandatory publication charges unless explicitly stated on this page.

  • Authors should not make any payment before receiving an official acceptance notification and APC payment instructions from the journal.

Waivers and Discounts

Authors who are unable to pay the APC because of financial circumstances may contact the editorial office to request consideration for a waiver or discount.

Waiver and discount requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and do not influence the editorial evaluation or peer-review decision.

Refund Policy

APC payments are non-refundable once the article has entered the final publication-production process, except where the journal determines that a refund is appropriate because of an error attributable to the publisher.

The APC applies equally regardless of the academic content or editorial decision concerning a manuscript. Editorial decisions are made independently of an author's ability or willingness to pay publication charges.
